A Night to Remember with Collectors and Creatives

Some dinners feed the body. Others feed the mind.

On 27 May 2025, inside ELIT, the private event space of EMAX Beauté International, something rare unfolded, a dinner that did both. And more.

Hosted in collaboration with ArtMoments Jakarta, Collectors Dinner was curated by the ever-thoughtful Iz Sulaini, the brain behind KolmeGlu. Known for his instinctive ability to bring the right minds together, Iz crafted a night that blended intimacy with influence. A shared space for culture-shapers, art lovers and bold thinkers to simply connect.

This amazing and meaningful dinner took place at ELIT, a bright and versatile space envisioned by Wilson Lee, CEO of EMAX Beauté International. As the name behind BEAUTÉ LIBRARY, B+ CLINIC & CURVENA, Wilson continues to shape spaces where beauty, creativity and culture naturally converge. His presence added quiet strength to the night, a reminder that when vision is rooted in purpose, moments like this come to life.

With elegant plating and conversation flowing across art, design and identity, the setting inside ELIT felt less like an event, and more like a moment. A room full of people who rarely cross paths in the same room, suddenly seated shoulder to shoulder in a space that felt both curated and completely natural.

The unforgettable dinner brought together a rich mix of guests across industries and borders. Among them were actress Diana Danielle, Cindy Ozzie and Dr Sendy Widjaja of ArtMoments Jakarta, Dato’ Khairul Yusni (fondly known as Uncle Karl), Datin Malina Su, Kenny Teng of G13 Gallery, and Ar. Mohamad Pital Maarof of Rumah Lukis.

Also present were Jet Chew of Emperor Palace, Pakhruddin ‘Pakha’ Sulaiman, Sabrina YF Hung, Wendy Khaw and Nic Proud of Pentago, Vincent Siow of Bangsar Village and The Venue, Megat Ammar, Gabriel Cheah, Ismail Ani Arope of CIMB Group, Puan Sri Nina Ayub, Emma Shaari, Stephan Suen, Ong Chin Huat, Lynn Scavee, Samuel Fletcher, Arisha Khaled, Aniq Durar, Kevin Lee, and Kate Vong, each bringing their own lens and story to the conversation.

Midway through the night, a surprise performance by the award-winning cast of ‘The Working Dead’ took centre stage with their original song, “Deadlines”. It was sharp, witty and unexpectedly relatable, a nod to the realities of ambition, the tension of pressure, and the humour found in the grind. The performance brought awed applause and that rare shift in the room when something just… lands.

The Collectors Dinner, part of the Road to ArtMoments Jakarta 2025, wasn’t framed as a spectacle. It didn’t need to be. The conversations were real. The chemistry was honest. The dinner, curated by Chef Wang Ye Chung who is a close friend of Wilson Lee, featured an art-forward tasting menu made entirely with Malaysian ingredients. A thoughtful nod to local creativity, it perfectly echoed the spirit of the night.

We are grateful to be part of the ArtMoments journey, a chance to bring together individuals from different worlds who are all connected by a genuine love for art and culture. That evening was more than just a gathering. It was a celebration of shared values, meaningful conversations and the quiet power of connection that happens when people come together with intention.
